Eligibility
Applicants must be enrolled as undergraduate or graduate students at an overseas university for the duration of the program. They must also hold a passport that is valid for at least six (6) months from the date of entry into Korea.

* Applicants must complete the following two-step application process.
* Nomination by the applicant’s home university is not required. Applicants should apply directly to the program themselves.
* The application process is the same for all applicants. However, program fees vary depending on the applicant’s home university partnership status with UOS and the application date.
Application Process
Step 1: Registration (Create Your Account)
- Access the Application webpage, select the 2026 SIWS Program, and click the Registration button to create your UOS SIWS ID.

- Select the appropriate institution type based on your home university’s partnership status with the University of Seoul (UOS) to ensure that the correct program fee is applied.
- If you are unsure about your home university’s partnership status with UOS, please confirm it with your home university’s international office before proceeding with the application.
Step 2: Complete Your Application
- Log in to your personal dashboard using your UOS SIWS ID and complete the application form.
- Upload all required documents and submit your application.
- Required Documents: All documents need to be provided in English
- 1. Official Academic Transcript from your home university
- 2. ID Photo showing your face clearly, such as a passport-style photo
- 3. Copy of your Passport
- 4. Certificate of Enrollment — an official document verifying that you are enrolled at your home university during the program period
- To qualify for the Early Bird Discount, applicants must complete both Step 1 and Step 2 by December 1, 2026.
- After submitting the application, applicants will receive an invoice and payment instructions by email.
